2011 AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction Results

The proceeds of the 2010 AMHA/WMF SSA fund added $31,900 to the Futurity fund. The SSA proceeds go back to the winning horses in each of the 15 World Futurity classes if the sire has been in that year's AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction. A percentage of this money also goes back to the stsallion owners.

This year was the second year eligible get had an opportunity to win Auction Rewards. Eligible were those foals that were direct results from the breedings purchased at the 2007 and 2008 AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction. None of the eligible yearlings or two year olds shown won the Rewards of $10,000, which means that their Rewards will follow this class into their two and three year old year at the 2011 Grand National, where the eligible class winners will each have a chance to win. Another Auction Rewards Bonus of $10,000 will be available in 2011 to the foals that were the result of breedings purchased in the 2009 SSA.

Below are results from the 2011 SSA. Any nominated foal that is a direct result of any of these breedings may be eligible to win $10,000 auction rewards at the 2013 Grand National.

The Futurity's share of the proceeds of this year's SSA will be divided up among the get of any sire winning first place at this year's show. This bonus money is divided among owners of the winning horses, sire owners and the trainer.
